Aurora subdivisions number over 132 at last count and new Aurora subdivisions are being added yearly. As you can imagine, this represents a significant amount of Aurora IL real estate. Homes in Aurora subdivisions combine to make up local real estate niches that all share the same community resources and often, interests. One of the first steps you should take if you are buying a home in an Aurora subdivision is to research the community that surrounds that home. Historically, that has been a difficult task. It's relatively easy to find data on individual homes within an Aurora subdivision, but much more difficult to find any information on the community that an Aurora home is a part of.
One of my latest projects is to present information about the local communities that make up each major Aurora subdivision. With over 132 Aurora subdivisions to cover, this is quite a project. However, once completed, it will serve as a valuable community resource as well as a tool for Aurora home buyers seeking information about a particular area.
