The Beau Ridge Subdivision is located on the near northwest side of Aurora just off of Sullivan Road just west of N Highland Ave. Beau Ridge is actually split in half by Sullivan Road – half is on the north side and half on the south. The southern portion of the community partially blends into the nearby Golden Oaks Subdivision and many of the homes in the south portion of Beau Ridge border on Smith Elementary School which the homes in the subdivision feed into. The Beau Ridge subdivision features a good mixture of home styles from small 925 square foot ranches to large split-level homes over 1700 square feet. Most of the homes in Beau Ridge were built in the early-to-mid 1960’s and they are popular with home buyers looking for a good starter home or for commuters looking for a community with easy access to I-88.
