Natures Edge is a fairly small subdivision built by Wiseman-Hughes between 1996 and 1998. It’s one of three newer subdivisions built in the same area around the same timeframe. Natures Edge subdivision numbers only around 100 homes – smaller than the nearby Natures Pointe and the much-larger Oakhurst Meadows. The homes of Natures Edge include many modern features popular with today’s buyers including double-story living rooms and open floorplans. Homes in the community are mostly two-story and include basements and moderate lot sizes.
Natures Edge Aurora is easy to locate – it’s on the south side of McCoy east of the Hometown subdivision and west of Oakhurst. It’s located directly across from the large Oakhurst Community Forest Preserve. The homes of Natures Edge are very similar to those in Oakhurst Meadows and Natures Point making it hard to determine where this subdivision ends and the others begin but as a general rule, it’s the most northern of the three subdivisions.
