Cambridge Countryside Subdivision – Cambridge Countryside Townhomes

Cambridge Countryside is a fairly large group of townhomes on the far north side of Aurora, Illinois. The community is located off of Butterfield Road directly across from Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab). Cambridge Countryside Subdivision also includes a smaller group of up-scale detached single family homes also located in the same area. Many of the townhomes in Cambridge Countryside feature partial brick exteriors and double-story living rooms, modern kitchens and a few models even include full basements.

There is almost a dizzying number of townhome models in Cambridge Countryside – in fact way too many to describe here. I am going to list the names – they are: Sorrel, Canterbury, Deerbrook, Andover, Butterfield, Chestnut, Albany, Butterfield, Morgan, Carlyle, Charleston and Dunham. They range from a smaller 2BR/2BA ranch-style townhome around 1100 square feet with a 1-car garage, to a 3BR/2.1BA townhome with loft, full basement and 2-car garage at nearly 2000 square feet. All of the different townhome models represent different variants on number of bedrooms, bathrooms, size of the garage and ranch versus 2-story.

The Cambridge Countryside subdivision is somewhat unusual in that it combines townhomes and detached single-family homes. The detached-style homes in Cambridge Countryside include the Riviera, Warwick and the largest two – Cumberland and Talbot – both nearly 3000 square feet in size. Both townhomes and detached single-family homes in Cambridge Countryside are popular with commuters with easy access to I-88 and both Eola and Kirk roads.
