Sandwich Subdivisions

The small rural community of Sandwich, Illinois has yet to hit the housing boom that has taken hold of cities and villages just to the east. There are several new subdivisions in Sandwich yet many of the existing homes are located in subdivisions built between the 1960s and 1990’s. There are also quite a few older centered around the downtown area of Sandwich. Most of the subdivisions in Sandwich include detached custom or semi-custom homes – there are only a couple subdivisions with attached-style townhomes or duplexes.

One of the top features of many Sandwich subdivisions are the large lots many of the homes possess. Lots of many Sandwich homes exceed one acre in size and are popular with buyers seeking more space. Despite some recent home building activity, the City of Sandwich maintains a small-town atmosphere. The community remains, at its heart, an agricultural community surrounded by the fields and orchards of Northern Illinois.

This Sandwich subdivision page branches out to individual detail pages for each community all accessed by the dropdown menu located above.
