Oberweis Subdivision North Aurora is a small community of ranch and split-level homes that is located just north of Woodland Lakes and the North Towne Homes. Most of the homes in Oberweis incorporate either partial or full brick on the exterior and were built in the late 1950’s and early 1960s. Oberweis homes are known for being solidly built, range in size from around 1000 to nearly 2500 square feet and often sit on large lots. The location of the community is ideal for commuters – featuring easy access to N River Road and only a short distance from I-88. Oberweis is located fairly close to the Fox Valley Country Club as well as Red Oak Park and Nature Center. There are many long-term residents in Oberweis Subdivision and because the community is rather small, it’s often difficult to find homes for sale in Oberweis. They also tend to sell quickly when they do appear on the market.
