Park Avenue Subdivision – Park Avenue Townhomes

The Park Avenue subsividion is located on the south side of New York Street just west of Eola Road. This community is connected to the nearby Abington Woods subdivision to the west and it can sometimes be difficult to distinguish between the two communities. This group of 25 buildings and nearly 100 townhomes features beautiful modern townhomes just to the north and west of the large community of Oakhurst on Aurora’s far east side. Built between 2002 and 2003, this subdivision is often popular with smaller families or individuals who need to be close to Naperville and Route 59. The townhomes of Park Avenue are arranged in groups of 4 and often features partial brick exteriors.

Townhome models include the Albany with 2 bedrooms, and 2-2.5 bathrooms, Charleston with 2-3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, Durham with 2-3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms and the larger Bellingham with 3 bedrooms and 2-2.5 bathrooms. Each model has a slightly different layout and range in size from about 1200 square feet to over 1800 square feet. A popular feature in modern attached-style homes, many of the townhomes in Park Avenue feature full basements and some also offer pond views or lots that back up to the woods. In addition, many of the townhomes that border the neighboring Abington Woods subdivision back up into a “green space” – a small park-like strip of land between the two subdivisions (pictured above). Park Avenue is in a great location convenient to the Route 59 corridor, Naperville, Eola Road and the Naperville Metra Station. These townhomes feed into district 204 schools including Grainger Middle School and Waubonsie High School.
