I have decided to move to a new blog platform – WordPress – for several reasons. In order to make this move, my blog URL will change to http://www.illinoislandandhomes.com/blog/ – I have already migrated all of my older posts to this new address. I will slowly be phasing out my two other blogs http://illinoisrealestatenews.illinoislandandhomes.com/ and http://northernillinoisrealestate.blogspot.com/ and will continue with this blog as my main site for Illinois Real Estate news. I chose to move over to this platform because of the benefit of creating new and original content on my own website. It will serve as a way to create live and current news content for my visitors. It will also allow me to modify my blog and make it the way I want rather than having to use a lot of pre-defined templates. My hope is that this new platform will work out well and I’ll be able to add current content on a regular basis.
