Hometown Aurora is one of two Hometown subdivisions in the Fox Valley – the other being Hometown Oswego. This master-planned community was built by Bigelow Homes between 1995 and 2010. Hometown Aurora is a fairly unique subdivision – homes are often located around parks or green space like old New England communities centered around a town square. Homes are designed in several styles including American Colonial, North America Victorian, Gingerbread and Prairie School.
Although this community is mostly detached single family homes, there are also quite a few condos and even a section of town homes called “The Lofts”. Hometown is centrally located on the east side of the city across from the Phillips Park Golf Course and near the aquatic center. Also, being close to Ogden, Rt. 30 and Farnsworth makes this an ideal location for commuters. The community is located within a short distance of the Copley Healthplex as well as shopping along the Rt. 34 corridor in Oswego.
